41. Clyde Drexler

“Clyde the Glide” played 15 NBA seasons, 11.5 of them with the Portland Trail Blazers before finishing with the Houston Rockets.

Drafted No. 14 overall in 1983 by Portland, he averaged 20.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game over 1,086 games on 47.2 percent shooting from the field.

Drexler was a 10-time NBA All-Star, made five All-NBA teams and was named to the NBA’s 50th and 75th anniversary teams.

He led the Trail Blazers to the 1990 and 1992 NBA Finals, averaging 24.8 points in the 1992 series against Michael Jordan the Chicago Bulls.

In 1995, Drexler finally achieved the ultimate team glory, winning an NBA ring with the Rockets and averaging 21.5 points in the Finals.

Drexler was also famously a member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic “Dream Team”, a group which many fans and analysts consider the greatest basketball team ever assembled.

Drexler amassed 18,040 points in a Trail Blazers uniform, which was the record for the franchise until Damian Lillard surpassed it in 2022.

When Drexler retired in 1998, he was one of only three players with 20,000 points, 6,000 assists and 6,000 rebounds. He never missed the playoffs in his career.

Drexler was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2004 individually and in 2010 as part of the Dream Team.
