Manchester United starlets have been selected to represent their nation in the upcoming international break.
Ayden Heaven, Ethan Wheatley, and Elyh Harrison have all received call-ups to the England U20 squad.
The Young Lions are gearing up for a high-profile clash against Italy in Chesterfield on Friday, 9 September.
This selection will definitely boost the morale of the trio.
Heaven secured a move to United from Arsenal in early February.
He was immediately drafted into the senior set-up under head coach Ruben Amorim.
He impressed with his proactive defending and ability to carry the ball forward from the left centre-back spot.
Amorim rates him highly and he is set to play a crucial role this campaign.
It would not be a surprise if he made his debut for the senior England squad under Thomas Tuchel before the end of the season.
Wheatley is gaining valuable first-team minutes on loan at League One side Northampton Town.
After a tricky start to the campaign, the forward silenced critics by smashing in his first senior goal against Exeter City last weekend.
The 19-year-old netted two goals for England in the Under-19 European Championship finals.
Wheatley is highly rated at the youth level and has already played four times for United’s first team.
It will be great exposure for the teenager to play against Italy next month.
Elyh Harrison is another United starlet currently on loan at Shrewsbury.
The 2006-born shot-stopper have conceded eight goals in three League Two games.
He will compete with Sam Proctor and Tommy Setford for the spot between the sticks.
