**Newcastle United may have Nick Woltemade all but signed, but there's still a need for a further addition up top that would allow Twisty McStrikeface to finally get his move away from the club.**
If Newcastle are able to sign two strikers before Monday's deadline, that leaves the door wide open for Liverpool to come back in with a British transfer record offer for Alexander Isak, who has been agitating for a move away from the club all summer.
There's still a possibility that the deal gets done if the Magpies only manage to sign Woltemade and no other striker, but the odds of that happening are much higher.
Meanwhile, Newcastle's search for another centre forward looks to be impacting a couple of team sheets this weekend.

Yoane Wissa has been waiting weeks to move to Newcastle
Jorgen Strand Larsen is set to miss Wolves' clash with Everton
--------------------------------------------------------------
Despite returning to training with the team, Yoane Wissa will not be involved in Brentford's game against Sunderland on Saturday.
Similarly, it's now being reported by [The Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-15047379/Wolves-Jorgen-Strand-Larsen-Newcastle-move.html) that Jorgen Strand Larsen won't be involved as Wolverhampton Wanderers face Everton, as the 25-year-old has told Wolves he wants to move to Tyneside.
As things stand, both options are still in play for Newcastle, who can't really afford to close the door on either until they know one is coming in.
Both Yoane Wissa and Jorgen Strand Larsen want to move to Newcastle
-------------------------------------------------------------------
It was initially believed that Newcastle would ease off on the pursuit of Strand Larsen, given that he is a very similar player to Nick Woltemade, but with no guarantees that they will sign Yoane Wissa, it would be foolish to rule out a move for Strand Larsen.
Both players clearly want to join Newcastle, and while from a footballing aspect, Yoane Wissa makes the most sense as he will offer something different to Woltemade, Strand Larsen is a younger option with more potential.
Wissa will likely be the much cheaper option, though which should play a factor in Newcastle's decision. There's still plenty of twists and turns ahead before 7pm on Monday.
