Return: Antony
Antony is one step closer to rejoining Real Betis after Manchester United accepted a permanent offer from the La Liga side.
According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian has been given permission to travel to Spain to finalise the move as personal terms are yet to be agreed.
If Antony does return to Betis it would represent somewhat of a U-turn on the winger’s behalf as earlier in the summer he appeared to confirm his time at the Estadio Benito Villamarin was over for good after a successful loan spell.
In a video on his Instagram, he said: "Today is the day to thank one of the most beautiful chapters of my life.
"From the first step into this club, I felt something different. It was like coming home, like finding a piece of myself that I thought I had lost. With you, I started to smile again.
"Thank you for welcoming me as one of your own. Thank you for giving me back the joy of playing football.

Antony spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan with the La Liga outfit and enjoyed somewhat of a career renaissance following his well-documented struggles in England.
The Brazilian netted nine goals and weighed in with five assists in 26 appearances across all competitions, helping Betis qualify for the Europa League in the process.
Furthermore, he played a massive role in Manuel Pellegrini’s side reaching the Conference League final, although they were convincingly beaten by Chelsea.
Antony has not featured for Man Utd this season and is set to become the latest forward to leave the club after Alejandro Garnacho who is closing in on a move to Chelsea.
