AS Monaco has announced the transfer of Soungoutou Magassa. The 21-year-old Academy-trained midfielder has signed with West Ham United in the Premier League.
Arriving at the Academy in 2018 from Stains, in the Paris region, Soungoutou Magassa took part in all stages of a Monegasque training, from U17 to the Elite Group.
Nearly 60 professional matches
A pure product of La Diagonale, hardworking and attached to the values it transmits, he gradually grew with the Rouge et Blanc until his debut in the first team in the Coupe de France Round of 32 against Quevilly-Rouen in January 2022. Season after season, he asserted himself in the first team, totaling 57 matches in the famous diagonale jersey.
First career goal in the Champions League
A player in the last two consecutive Champions League qualifiers, he had the opportunity to experience this prestigious competition last year, where he scored a goal with AS Monaco against Benfica.
