Despite injury issues throughout his career, Leonard is one of the best two-way wings to ever step on an NBA basketball court, and his legacy with two franchises — the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors — is secured.
Selected No. 15 overall in 2011 by the Indiana Pacers and traded to the Spurs on draft night, Leonard won his first NBA championship in 2014 at age 22, [earning Finals MVP honors](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZaUp4bugbk).
He played seven seasons with the Spurs, earning two Defensive Player of the Year awards (2015, 2016), six All-Star selections, and seven All-Defensive Team honors.

In 2018, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors, leading them to their first NBA title in 2019 and winning his second Finals MVP, becoming one of only three players to win with multiple teams.
Leonard then signed with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2019, although he has struggled to stay healthy since.

Kawhi is one of the biggest “what ifs” on this list, which is wild to say for a player that is ranked No. 30 all-time. The thing is, if Leonard had stayed healthy, he had the potential to win more titles and possibly become a top-10 player in the history of the sport. He is and was that talented in his prime.
