Brittany Mahomes celebrated in style as she jetted off on a weekend getaway with her friends in honor of her 30th birthday.
Ahead of her milestone celebration on Sunday, August 31, Mahomes reposted her friends Lyndsay Bell and Cass Greinert's Friday, August 29, Instagram Story photo of the Kansas City Chiefs WAG boarding a specially-decorated private plane.
"Celebrating our girl all weekend," Bell announced to her Instagram followers. "Let's go girls!"
Mahomes, 29, wore matching sunglasses, a pink cowboy hat and jeans as she posed on a pink carpet under an inflatable "30" balloon at the entrance of the plane. Her friends went over the top in the best way for the birthday festivities by lining the plane's entrance with even more colorful balloons.
The birthday weekend kicked mere hours after Mahomes joined close friends Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce for the couple's first post-engagement outing. She was spotted sitting with the couple as they watched Travis' alma mater, the Cincinnati Bearcats, take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers at the Kansas City Chief's hometown venue, Arrowhead Stadium, on Thursday, August 28.
It was an eventful night as Swift, 35, flashed her old mine brilliant cut diamond engagement ring - which was designed by Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry - as the Bearcats came up short against the Cornhuskers. Aside from his college team's 17-20 loss, Travis, 35, was loudly booed by the rowdy crowd at Arrowhead Stadium throughout the game, though he took the slight in stride.
Meanwhile, Mahomes was one of the first of Swift and Travis' inner circle to congratulate them when they announced their engagement after two years of dating. The happy couple poked fun at themselves with the tongue-in-cheek engagement announcement: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."
Alongside Swift's song "So High School," Mahomes wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 26: "Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two ."
It has been an eventful month for Brittany as she recently brought her and husband Patrick Mahomes' three children - Sterling, 3, Bronze, 2, and Golden, 7 months - to Legoland Discovery Center in Kansas City. The day trip gave baby Golden some special bonding time with her mom as the two older children got to hang out with some giraffes and flamingos.
The Kansas City Current cofounder traded theme park casual wear for a sleeveless, high-necked off-white mini dress when she joined husband Patrick at the red carpet premiere of the Chief's documentary series, The Kingdom, last Sunday night.
Next up for the family is the official kickoff of the NFL season, as the Chiefs travel to São Paulo, Brazil to play the Los Angeles Chargers at Corinthians Arena on Friday, September 5. Mahomes recently expressed excitement to experience the NFL season with her and Patrick's three young children.
"Every year is different with my babies," she wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 24. "I get so excited taking them to the first game and seeing how much more they understand and enjoy watching their dad play! This year is gonna be a good one."
