The window closes on Monday, with Iraola saying there is likely to be a new face or two before the deadline.
There has already been a significant turnover in key players for Bournemouth this summer, with Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi, Milos Kerkez, Dango Ouattara and Kepa all leaving.
The club has acted to bring in replacements, with Bafode Diakite, Adrien Truffert, Amine Adli, Ben Gannon-Doak and Djordje Petrovic coming into the squad.
Asked how that has affected the squad dynamics and atmosphere, and how he goes about building that, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I wouldn't say desperate but I'm looking forward to the September 2 where we know who we are and we can start to build some collectiveness, something more than just players.
_(Image: Richard Crease)_ “Because now it's very difficult because we had players past week here with us preparing for the game that they are not anymore with us.
“We have new players that were in wherever in other countries and now they are with us and there is every day almost there are changes.
“So it's difficult to build something collective. That's why I hate these two, three weeks. I hate them.
“And once the September 2 arrives and we have our squad and we have our players and you can establish more things to create something more important, something more collective, something that really matters.
“Now everything is provisional. I don't like it.”
_(Image: Richard Crease)_ Iraola continued: “It's difficult because sometimes you have players that are in the hotel because they don't have \[an idea of what is happening\].
“‘I don't want to rent because I don't know what's going to happen, so I'm here in the hotel and how long I will not rent one week and then we'll see next week.’
“And everything looks very unsettled, it looks like there is no truth behind this and I don't like it. But until they don't change the end of the market it's going to be like this.”
