Time is running out for Alexander Isak to seal a dream move to . The club have long admired the Swedish striker and saw a £110 million bid rejected earlier in the window.
Isak has been one of the standout transfer stories this summer after informing Newcastle of his desire to explore his options. However, the Tyneside club have remained firm in their stance that he is not for sale.
According to , Liverpool are preparing 'one last effort' to sign Isak before Monday's 7pm deadline. For the move to succeed, however, 'three dominoes would first need to fall into place'.
It is claimed Newcastle still need to sign two strikers and have Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart, Wolves' Jorgen Strand Larsen, and Yoane Wissa from Brentford on their radar. If one of those players were to reinforce Eddie Howe’s side, it could open the door for Liverpool to make a new bid for .
However, to stand any chance of success, they would then likely need to offer more than £120m.

Sky has slashed the price of its bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.
