Wolves have finally got their striker, with Tolu Arokodare on his way to Molineux.
Perhaps the second-most intriguing story of Wolves’ final week of the window is centred around Genk star Tolu Arokodare, who is set to become the club’s sixth summer signing.
Fabrizio Romano broke the news on Friday night.

But there is one catch that may stall celebrations over this purchase, as E&S reporter Liam Keen reveals.
No personal terms agreed yet between Wolves and Tolu Arokodare
Before we get too excited, there is still the matter of agreeing on the details of the new Wolves striker’s contract.
As Liam Keen writes: “Personal terms have not yet been agreed with the Nigerian international… but the player is keen on the move.”

The fee agreed is £22.5 million, with a further £865,000 in potential add-ons, which is not a bad price for a player with 17 league goals in Belgium last season. This doesn’t sound like a deal where an agreement on personal terms will be difficult, but it has not materialised yet.
Arokodare travels to Molineux for his medical today, but he won’t be able to cover the absent Jorgen Strand Larsen against Everton.

Tolu Arokodare would be a perfect backup to Jorgen Strand Larsen
Strand Larsen might not be at the club come Monday night, but if he is, having him and the Nigerian as goalscoring options would be perfect for Vitor Pereira.
The two don’t play exactly the same, but they could be rotated quite easily without having to change the tactical approach.

Both are big, strong centre-forwards with an eye for goal, and the hope is that it alleviates some of the pressure on Strand Larsen to score the lion’s share of the goals.
Assuming an agreement with the player can be reached, Wolves fans will be looking forward to seeing their new attacker in action after the international break.
