The clock is ticking for Alexander Isak to secure his dream transfer to Premier League champions Liverpool. The Reds have been long-term admirers of the Swedish forward, having seen a £110 million offer turned down earlier in the transfer window.
Isak has been one of the hot topics of this summer's transfer saga after expressing his wish to Newcastle to explore other opportunities. However, the Magpies have stood their ground, insisting that he is not up for sale.
BBC Sport reports that Liverpool are gearing up for 'one last push' to bring Isak on board before Monday's 7pm deadline. For the deal to go through, however, 'three dominoes would first need to fall into place'.
Newcastle are reportedly still in the market for two strikers and have Stuttgart's Nick Woltemade, Wolves' Jorgen Strand Larsen, and Yoane Wissa from Brentford on their shortlist. If any of these players were to bolster Eddie Howe's squad, it could pave the way for Liverpool to table a fresh bid for Isak.

However, to stand a chance of landing their target, they would likely need to up their offer to more than £120m, reports the Liverpool Echo.
In other news, Football Insider suggests that Liverpool might make a move for Morgan Rogers if RB Leipzig meet Harvey Elliott's asking price.
The Bundesliga outfit had been in talks with Liverpool over the midfielder amidst doubts over Xavi Simons' future. With Simons now at Tottenham, interest in Elliott is expected to ramp up.

Lastly, CF Bayern Insider has reported that Liverpool and City are eyeing up Bayern Munich's Michael Olise, with Paris Saint-Germain also said to be in the running.
However, the German champions are not currently open to any offers, making a deal highly unlikely. The report further states that despite rumours of an exit clause in the Frenchman's contract, his deal in Germany does not include one.
