Maresca on Fulham clash

Maresca has been speaking ahead of Che;sea’s clash with Fulham. Speaking about the need for rotation and choosing between Delap and Pedro, he added: “We have been the team with more changes in the entire season, last season, so I am not looking for just two players to play always. I’m looking for different solutions. For sure, they can play together, but it’s the game plan that demands whether it is one or both. So, we will see.”

He added: “We will be off, especially for the players. It will be a good time for us, but for the players not going with their international team, they need to recover. No holiday, but we will try to recover the energy.”

That could be a very smart move given the strange summer Chelsea players had.
