Bournemouth expected to sign versatile player for €22m – Today key as details being ironed out

On Friday, MilanNews reported AC Milan’s Alex Jimenez has chosen Bournemouth as his next destination.

Gianluca di Marzio revealed that talks between the two clubs were set to take place on Friday and they will be key in closing the move.

SportMediaSet’s Orazio Accomando has an update on Saturday and it looks like Bournemouth are moving closer. The journalist reports Milan’s approval for the Cherries’ offer should arrive today.

Bournemouth are expected to land the versatile Spaniard on an initial loan deal which becomes an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met across the 2025/26 season.

Andoni Iraola’s side are expected to pay a package of up to €22m for the winger, but there still is a gap of €2m between the two clubs and that should be ironed out soon.

MilanNews report Milan are yet to give the final green light for the transfer as the two clubs attempt to confirm the final details of an agreement.

The 20-year-old has already made it clear that he wants to play for Bournemouth, who have beaten competition from AS Roma and Como.
