Champions League schedule confirmed as Liverpool vs Real Madrid date announced

Liverpool will play Real Madrid at home in November

UEFA have confirmed the full match calendar for the league phase of the 2025-26 . Six English clubs are competing, having discovered their eight opponents - with four games at home and four away - during the draw on Thursday.

Headlining the first round of matches is Newcastle's clash with , taking place at St James' Park on Thursday, September 18. The date for Trent Alexander-Arnold's return to Anfield has also been announced, with hosting on Tuesday, November 4.

, meanwhile, kick-off their campaign away to Athletic Bilbao. playing Napoli at the Etihad Stadium in their first game, welcoming back Kevin De Bruyne just a few months after his departure.
