Marco Silva has told [TNT Sports](https://x.com/footballontnt/status/1961750002805428460) that Fulham are ‘ready for a very, very tough game’ in the SW6 derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking in his pre-match interview before kick off, Silva told Becky Ives:
“We are ready. We are ready for a very, very tough game as always between Chelsea and Fulham. It is going to be another one. We come from a good performance last Sunday and in midweek. It was a good job from the boys. We changed eight players and even so we were able to get what we wanted from the game … to play \[in\] the next round of the Carabao Cup.
In terms of preparation, when you have a normal and a proper week to prepare, the time is completely different to be ready for it. It was not the case for us. Chelsea had that opportunity, but we are ready for the game.
We have our plan. Of course, it is not for us to talk about the plan right now. I would prefer for us to express it on the field. We know their strengths, we know the things we can exploit things as well. I think the last few games we have been playing against them, our performances have shown that. We know clearly what we want from the game. We know that we are going to face a team with quality, with the way they have strengthened the front line … we are able to come and to match them, and to come and get the three points.”
