Man Utd vs Burnley LIVE: Premier League latest score and confirmed lineups

Manchester United are in desperate need of a win this afternoon when they host Burnley in the Premier League.

While there were positives to take from the opening weekend defeat to Arsenal, last weekend’s draw with Fulham was a stark reminder of some of last season’s woes for Ruben Amorim.

A disastrous Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby Town has piled pressure on the United boss with all the positivity coming out of the club during pre-season suddenly draining.

The visit of newly-promoted Burnley today gives them the chance to get on track before the September international break.

But anything less than a comprehensive victory today for the hosts will set alarm bells ringing even louder.
