The Chicago Bulls aren’t even close to where they want to be, but their players still have faith in what the team can do.
They also believe in the franchise’s front office, including Vice President of Basketball Operations Artūras Karnišovas, who has attempted some big moves over the years.
Nikola Vucevic is a fan of Karnišovas’s choices, and he stood up for him.
“When he first got there, I thought he made some very good moves—signing Lonzo, Caruso, Vucevic, and DeMar. I thought it was a very good team; it just did not work out. After that, sometimes it is hard to figure out what to do next. We had a lot of injuries and other challenges, but overall, I think he has done a good job. Now they have decided to go with slightly younger players, and they did a good job in the draft as well. I think it is understandable that fans want results right away, but sometimes you need to be patient. Overall, I think he has done some pretty good things,” Vucevic said of Karnišovas.

Karnišovas was on a roll for a while.
As Vucevic noted, he acquired Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso, and DeMar DeRozan in one offseason.
Things were looking good for the team, and Vucevic was one of many who expected big things from the Bulls.
But then it all changed when Ball was injured and the team’s chances came crashing down.
Since then, the Bulls have struggled, and the future doesn’t look so bright.
Vucevic is still with the team and continues to believe that they can turn things around and become competitive.
But fans aren’t so sure, because the front office hasn’t been as aggressive or productive as it was a few years ago.
