Napoli have booked a flight for Rasmus Højlund, with only the final details missing on the loan agreement with Manchester United for him.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, who reports that the countdown has begun for Højlund to make his move back to Italy.
He reports that Napoli are ready to welcome the Manchester United striker and have now booked a flight to take him to Italy for a medical. Indeed, he is expected to catch a flight this evening.
They have an agreement in place with Manchester United, reached in the last few hours, and the two clubs are now finalising the payment terms for the purchase clause that will be included in the loan deal for him.
Corriere dello Sport, meanwhile, report that Napoli and Manchester United are finalising their agreement today. It will be a loan deal with a €45m obligation clause if Napoli qualify for the Champions League. United will also retain a small percentage on a future sale.
According to their information, the negotiation is at such an advanced stage that Højlund should undergo his medical tests tomorrow at the Villa Stuart facility in Rome.
