With just a few days of the transfer window to go, Wrexham are still looking to improve their squad.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have allowed Wrexham to sign 10 players during the 2025 summer transfer window so far.
However, it appears as though Phil Parkinson is still pushing to get another midfielder through the door.
The Red Dragons have until 7pm on Monday to complete permanent and loan deals for under-contract players.
Wrexham can sign free agents after the deadline but they are currently being linked with a Leeds United ace.

Wrexham eye Darko Gyabi from Leeds United
Recently, Parkinson has commented on Wrexham signing Jordan James.
The former Birmingham City ace would add more depth to the Dragons’ midfield, which has already been strengthened by Lewis O’Brien and George Thomason this season.
Now, another midfielder in the form of Darko Gyabi is being linked with a move to the Racecourse Ground this weekend.

Gyabi joined Leeds United from Manchester City in 2022 for £5m, as per the Manchester Evening News.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has now reported on X/Twitter that the Peacocks’ ace is a target of five clubs, including Wrexham.
He wrote: “Leeds midfielder Darko Gyabi is a target either on loan or permanent for Wrexham, Watford, Hull and French duo Lorient and Metz before Monday’s transfer deadline.”
Who is Darko Gyabi
Born in London, England, Gyabi began his youth career on the books of Millwall, who Wrexham face on Saturday, before signing for Manchester City.
The 21-year-old featured 24 times at U18 level for the Sky Blues, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.
After leaving Man City for Leeds, the Englishman has spent time out on loan with Plymouth Argyle, for whom he made 58 appearances.
Gyabi is a natural central midfielder capable of playing as a number 10 and in a slightly deeper holding role.
