The Blues continued our brilliant start to the 2025/26 season with this top triumph over Rovers at the CFA.
After seeing off Leeds and Sunderland, we made it a hat-trick of Premier League North victories and it was an emphatic one.
After falling one behind early on, Oliver Reiss’s side came charging back with a volley of goals in the opening 45 minutes, Floyd Samba, Teddie Lamb, Tyrone Samba and Jake Wain helping us go in 4-1 up at the break.

It was more of the same after the break but not before Archie McCoy pulled one back for the visitors.
But an own goal from David Odugun as well as efforts from Kaden Braithwaite and new boy Lamb increased our lead before Valentin Joseph pulled a consolation back right at the death.
