The young striker maintained his own prolific form with a brace of goals in Saturday’s eventful 7-3 home win over Blackburn.
That took his league tally for the season to four and helped City maintain our perfect start to the season with three wins out of three.
Lamb also bagged a brace in City’s 3-3 Under-18 Premier League Cup draw at Crystal Palace in midweek.
But rather than resting on his laurels, the 16-year-old, who moved to City from Leyton Orient earlier this year, said he was only hungry for more and eager to help Oliver Reiss’s team maintain momentum.
“I just want to go again and get more,” Lamb said.
“I don’t want to stop here. I want to carry on going.
“In the last couple of seasons, we’ve not started the best in the league so to get those nine points before the international break is massive.
“It’s good for our morale and confidence.
“We’re taking it game by game but our aim is to win the league again so we want to keep the momentum up.”
