Chelsea emerged victorious in the West London Derby against Fulham.
The Blues did not start the game well. They were being overrun in midfield, were lucky that VAR overturned Josh King’s goal, and things were not going to plan.
However, Joao Pedro scored from a corner just before half-time, and Enzo Fernandez, who has angered many Chelsea supporters because of his behaviour during the game, made no mistake from the penalty spot.
Chelsea fans should be delighted with the win, but there is some bad injury news coming out of Stamford Bridge.
Liam Delap suffers hamstring injury during Chelsea vs Fulham
Liam Delap got the nod to start for the second week running when Chelsea faced Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
The Englishman had a decent game against West Ham in the Blues’ 5-1 win last time out, and he would’ve hoped to find the net in the derby.
However, after just 14 minutes, Delap suffered what looked like a hamstring injury and couldn’t continue.
The former Ipswich man went straight down the tunnel, and Tyrique George, who has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, replaced him.
Blues supporters had been hoping for some good news, but Maresca confirmed after the game that the striker is expected to be out for six to eight weeks because of his injury.
That is a massive blow for the Blues, who are already without Cole Palmer at the moment.
Liam Delap is expected to be out for "six to eight weeks" because of "this type of injury", according to Maresca on TNT Sports.
Must be said he is surely due a scan to confirm or improve the picture.

Enzo Maresca must be regretting Nicolas Jackson’s loan deal
Nicolas Jackson was told by Chelsea that he has no future at the club.
The Senegal international has not been a bad player for the Blues by any means, but the arrivals of Delap and Pedro made him surplus to requirements.
Bayern Munich have agreed to sign Jackson on loan, and the player is on his way to Germany to complete all the formalities of the deal.

It is unclear if Chelsea can block this move at this stage.
If they can’t, we have a feeling that Enzo Maresca will regret allowing Jackson to leave the club, as he would’ve been ideal for him in Delap’s absence.
It remains to be seen if the Blues will dive into the market for a new attacker now following their number nine’s injury.
