Chelsea Women Defeat AC Milan Thanks to Beever-Jones Hat-Trick

Chelsea Women defeated AC Milan led by Aggie Beever-Jones’ hat-trick, Everton lost out to Juventus and Aston Villa edged Union Berlin in pre-season friendlies.

Chelsea defeated AC Milan 4-1 at Kingsmeadow, where Beever-Jones featured with three goals.
Aggie Beever-Jones gave Chelsea the lead as she tapped home a cross from Johanna Rytting-Kaneryd but Milan equalised through Evelyn Ijeh and Mayra Ramirez went off injured.
Maika Hamano forced a save from Laura Giuliani and saw her corner come off the far post, before Beever-Jones restored the lead in first-half added time via the near post.
Beever-Jones netted again but was given offside, Giuliani made a good save to also thwart her but the hat-trick was completed after she was picked out by Keira Walsh.
Rytting-Kaneryd got in behind to add a late fourth for the hosts.

Everton let slip a two-goal lead in** loss to Juventus at Goodison Park**
Honoka Hayashi was blocked early on by goalkeeper Alessia Capelletti but Yuka Momiki later fired home from the edge of the area.
Ornella Vignola doubled the lead by heading in a Katja Snoeijs delivery, but Paulina Krumbiegel pulled one back before half time and five minutes after the restart Mathilde Harviken equalised.
Vignola forced a save as Everton looked to reply, Martina Fernandez headed onto the Juve bar, but Chiara Beccari struck to put the visitors ahead.
Aston Villa were 1-0 winners over Frauen Bundesliga side Union Berlin at Walsall FC.
A header from Kirsty Hanson was cleared off the line, Rachel Daly saw her shot well saved as the goalkeeper blocked with her feet.
Sabrine D’Angelo denied Naika Reissner from close range, Ebony Salmon hit the crossbar from outside the box, Villa’s keeper saved again when turning an effort by Nele Bauereisen round the post.
Daly made a 35th-minute breakthrough, latching onto a loose ball after Chasity Grant’s cross was blocked.
