EDDIE HOWE has made four changes - and looks to have opted for a switch in formation - as [Newcastle United](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle) take on Leeds United at Elland Road this afternoon.

Sven Botman returns to the starting line-up for the first time this season, but with Dan Burn and Fabian Schar retaining their places, it looks like Howe will be starting with three centre-halves.

Kieran Trippier and Tino Livramento remain in the starting side, so will presumably be filling the wing-back positions.

Jacob Ramsey makes his first start since signing from Aston Villa in the Newcastle midfield, with Jacob Murphy also returning to the starting XI.

Will Osula gets the nod to start up front, having scored as a second-half substitute in Monday's defeat to Liverpool.

The suspended Anthony Gordon drops out of the Newcastle squad, along with Joelinton, who suffered a groin injury in the Liverpool defeat.

Howe has also opted to demote Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes to the substitutes' bench as he looks to engineer his side's first league win of the season.
