“No one was injured in the incident.”

The Met Police are continuing their investigations amid early suggestions the boy was on his way to a comic book convention in Hammersmith.

It is an offence to carry an imitation firearm and the weapon is thought to have looked realistic, causing alarm to passers-by.

The incident occurred as fans were leaving Stamford Bridge following Chelsea's 2-0 win over Fulham.
