Not just Chukwueze and Otele: Fulham add another Nigerian to winger shortlist

Fulham are keeping tabs on England youth international of Nigerian descent Tyrique George as Marco Silva looks to strengthen his attacking options before the close of the transfer window.

Chelsea are open to sanctioning a permanent transfer, provided a significant sell-on clause is included in the deal, a move that would also support the club's Profit and Sustainability Rules obligations.

According to transfer expert [Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1961790300805881980), Fulham are among the clubs considering a move for George, though Roma have already scheduled direct talks with the player following his appearance for Chelsea on Saturday.

Silva is targeting two wingers, while a striker could also arrive at Craven Cottage before Monday's deadline.

George made 26 appearances in all competitions last season, including ten starts, contributing eight goal involvements as Chelsea lifted both the UEFA Conference League and the Fifa Club World Cup.

With opportunities limited, the teenager is now open to a move away in search of regular football.

Fulham's shortlist of wide attacking options has a distinctly Nigerian flavour.

Alongside George, the club remain in pursuit of AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze, although progress has slowed in recent days due to the calf injury suffered by Rafael Leão.

Another name under serious consideration is Basel forward Philip Otele.

Fulham scouts were in attendance during the Swiss club's Champions League defeat to FC Copenhagen on Wednesday to monitor the 26-year-old closely.
