Everton beat Wolves 3-2 on Saturday, in what ultimately became a closely-contested affair at Molineux.
Jack Grealish had the chance to make history by providing an assist against Wolves, and the midfielder took full advantage, adding another two to his tally for the season.
Beto was criticised for his impact against Leeds United and was subsequently dropped for Thierno Barry, but the Guinea-Bissau international proved his value on Saturday.
Grealish was desperate to be named in the England squad on Friday but was left out, although the 29-year-old will have given Thomas Tuchel something to think about on Saturday.

Jack Grealish continues superb form vs Wolves
Wayne Rooney was in awe of Grealish’s full Everton debut against Brighton, and the midfielder has continued to look like a terrific bit of business.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
It was the former Manchester City man’s perfectly-timed run that was found in the early stages, the 28-year-old heading across goal to find Beto for the opener.
He played a key part in the goal that put Everton back in front, too, picking up the ball and playing an ingenious reverse pass to get Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in behind the Wolves defence before he found Iliman Ndiaye.

And again, the 28-year-old was the provider for an Everton goal when Dewsbury-Hall smashed home the visitors’ third goal.
The best teams always have a player capable of changing things in an instant, and in Grealish, the Toffees look to have gained exactly that.
The midfielder won seven fouls on the day and proved to be a constant thorn in the side of the home side.
Idrissa Gueye wasteful vs Wolves
Everton had looked to be cruising towards victory until the 79th minute, when Rodrigo Gomes stole in behind Michael Keane and Vitalii Mykolenko to put Wolves within a goal of levelling the scores.
But the Toffees could have been well in front already, had it not been for Idrissa Gueye’s poor decision-making.
On several occasions, the midfielder broke into space behind the Wolves midfield, but often chose to shoot into bodies when better options were available.
David Moyes will be happy with the frequency with which Gueye was released, but will be frustrated by the vulnerability the Senegal international’s poor decisions left Everton in.
