Manchester United have become the first side ever to see both of their first two goals of a Premier League campaign be own goals, with the Red Devils therefore setting a unique record in the competition.
The Red Devils failed to find the back of the net against Arsenal in their 2025-26 opener, but they scored against Fulham last weekend when a header from Leny Yoro hit Rodrigo Muniz and ended up in the back of the net.
Man United then took the lead against Burnley on Saturday courtesy of an own goal from Josh Cullen, with a header from Casemiro hitting the crossbar before going in off the away side's midfielder.
Burnley twice came from behind to level the scores on Saturday, but Bruno Fernandes scored a last-gasp penalty to hand Ruben Amorim's side their first win of the 2025-26 campaign.
The victory has seen Man United rise into ninth spot in the Premier League table, boasting a respectable four points from their opening three matches of the season.

Amorim said that his side "had to win" on Saturday due to the noise that has surrounded the club since the shock defeat to Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup last week.
"It is three points, if you look at the game we should solve it in the first half and control the game - but we are fighting to the last minute because of things we overcomplicate," Amorim told Premier League Productions.
"Look at the first half, we have so many chances to score. You feel you can control the game. But one throw in, one set piece. I shook my head, because sometimes football is like this. We now have two weeks with a lot of opportunities. This was a game we had to win, but we have a lot to do."
Amorim's job had been in severe doubt following a lacklustre start to the season, but Fernandes appears to have saved his manager heading into the September international break.

When will Man United be back in action?
The September international break now kicks into action, so Man United will not be back on the field until the Manchester derby with Manchester City on September 14.
Amorim's side will then welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford on September 20 before finishing the month with a game against Brentford, so it is set to be a fascinating next few weeks for the Red Devils.
