Jack Grealish Gets 10/10 | Everton Players Rated In 3-2 Win Against Wolves

Everton beat Wolves 3-2 at Molineux Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League to put themselves firmly in the race for a European place. Beto, Hwang Hee-Chan and Iliman Ndiaye scored in the first half to light up the game. Although a clash between James Garner and Vitor Pereira stole the limelight for a while, the second half was all Everton. Jack Grealish played superbly to set up Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for the third goal. Rodrigo Gomes finally scored late on, but Moyes’ side came home with three points.

Everton Players Rated In 3-2 Win Against Wolverhampton Wanderers:

Jordan Pickford – 5

Pickford had an average day. A miscommunication between him and the defence allowed Wolves to equalise, but the attack covered up his mistake later on.

Jake O’Brien – 3

O’Brien looked uncomfortable throughout the match. He looked weak against the fast attacks of Wolves.

James Tarkowski – 5

The experienced defender played a simple game. Despite the absence of Branthwaite, he thought it was better to get the ball away safely.

Michael Keane – 6

Keane did not take risks like his partner. He focused on clearing every danger and avoided making extra dangerous moves.

Vitalii Mykolenko – 8

This was his first league start since last season, and he did not make a single wrong move. His return was a big relief for Everton.

James Garner – 7

Garner gave his all in every tackle. Although he was penalised for some fouls, his hard work kept energising the team.

Idrissa Gueye – 6

Gueye’s performance was ordinary. He did not make many mistakes, but also did not show the strength as expected.

Iliman Ndiaye – 8

Ndiaye worked well with Grealish. His presence balanced the attack and troubled the Wolves’ defence.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 7

Initially, he was a bit suppressed in front of the physical defence of Wolves and saw a yellow card, but later made a comeback by scoring a goal and providing an assist.

Jack Grealish – 10 (Man of the Match)

Grealish’s performance was excellent. He gave two assists, constantly troubled the opposition and drew fouls repeatedly. He changed the entire course of the match.

Beto – 8

Beto was criticised for his recent performances, but in this match, he impressed everyone with his link-up play. His contribution was important in Everton’s victory.

Tim Iroegbunam – 6

Coming on the field after the change, he kept himself composed and handled the team’s pace.

Thierno Barry – 4

Barry made very little impact after coming on. His presence paled in comparison to Beto’s.

Carlos Alcaraz – N/A

Due to the short time, he did not get the opportunity to impact the game.

Seamus Coleman – N/A

He came on at the very end, and hence his impact was not visible.

Everton achieved this victory against Wolves due to the collective effort of the whole team, but Grealish’s brilliance was seen as the one to influence the game. Moyes’ team still has some shortcomings, yet with such a performance, they have the full potential to climb high in the table.
