Wolves slumped their way to yet another Premier League defeat when Everton visited Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
The Toffees, more or less, blew the Old Gold away, even if the scoreline of 3-2 made the game look closer than it was.
Jack Grealish was Everton’s talisman with the Englishman getting two assists. While Wolves’ star player Jorgen Strand Larsen was left in the stands following an achilles injury.
The future of the Norwegian has been the main talking point as of late, as Newcastle hope to land the forward.
However, with not long left in the transfer window, Vitor Pereira has provided another update about the striker.

Vitor Pereira expects Jorgen Strand Larsen to stay at Wolves
Jorgen Strand Larsen was not in the Wolves squad as he picked up an injury during the week.
This only fuelled speculation surrounding his future at Molineux, and even Vitor Pereira’s confirmation of his exclusion being injury related did not help.
However, speaking after Wolves’ 3-2 loss to Everton, the Portuguese manager has delivered yet another update on the future of Strand Larsen, hoping to cool down reports of the player leaving.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
When asked about whether he expects the striker to be in his squad after the deadline on September 1st, he simply responded, ‘Of course, of course, of course.’
This will be the news all Wolves fans will want to hear, and any fear of Fosun letting Jorgen Strand Larsen leave despite Pereira’s comments were already quelled earlier in the window.
Jeff Shi told Strand Larsen he is not getting sold, and that any bids for him this summer will be rejected.
Jorgen Strand Larsen has never been more important for Wolves
While Wolves managed to score twice against Everton, the game highlighted just how important Strand Larsen is to the side.
With Hwang Hee-chan starting up top, there was a real lack of physicality against the brutish defenders of Michael Keane and James Tarkowski.
The South Korean did well to score his goal, but you just cannot help but feel the game could have been different if the Everton defence had someone more powerful to deal with.
Sasa Kaladjzic is back from a long-term injury, and Pereira confirmed he is unable to play more than 15-20 minutes at the moment.
Meanwhile, Tolu Arokodare’s potential arrival could provide that strong presence up front, but he could take some time to adapt to the league.
Jorgen Strand Larsen knows the style at Wolves, and his traits will be vital for the club when trying to secure points against similar level sides.
