Nicolas Jackson's agent issues statement as Chelsea cancel Bayern Munich transfer

Nicolas Jackson's camp have issued a telling response to reports Chelsea are prepared to pull the plug on a proposed loan move to Bayern Munich. The striker had looked set to complete a loan move to the Bundesliga giants, but plans changed on Saturday afternoon following Chelsea's lunchtime clash with Fulham.

Former Premier League ace Diomansy Kamara, who makes up part of Jackson's agency, reposted a story on Instagram that appeared to suggest they'll keep pushing for a move to Bayern. The post read: "We're not going back" and suggested that Jackson won't be returning to London by saying: "The plane doesn't go backwards.. Munich."

Enzo Maresca was quizzed about the situation following the Fulham clash, but understandably, the Chelsea manager wasn't up to speed with the situation. He said: "I just finished the game, came here and have no idea. We're going to sit now and we'll see. Honestly, I have no idea."

Meanwhile, Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl told Sky in Germany: “We’ll see what happens. Jackson is still here. We’ll take action after the match, but I can’t give details yet.”
