Jack Harrison has endured a tough start to life upon his Leeds United return.
Harrison has been booed by Leeds fans ever since returning to the club from two season-long loan spells at Everton.
Harrison has also had to endure rumours that Leeds would sell him, which were welcomed by plenty of fans.
There are still a couple of days remaining of the transfer window, but it now seems that Harrison will remain at Elland Road.
And he can now begin to think about moving forward with Leeds after what happened in the Elland Road stands during the game against Newcastle on Saturday.

Jack Harrison receives notable applause from Leeds fans against Newcastle
Harrison was introduced as a substitute after 60 minutes against Newcastle.
When he has been introduced in the past, the reception from Leeds fans can be described as ‘frosty’ at best.
However, in Saturday’s 0-0 draw between Leeds and Newcastle, Harrison received notable applause from the home fans.
It was loud enough for the commentators on BBC Radio 5 Live to mention on air.
Covering the game, lead commentator John Murray said: “This is the first time we’ve seen the reaction, Jack Harrison at Elland Road, there’s warm applause as he walks over into that corner in front of the Revie Stand.
“I think it looks as though the feeling is: ‘we’ve made our point’.”

Leeds could still do with some extra flair on the wings
Daniel Farke made a double substitution when introducing Harrison after the hour.
Harrison and Brenden Aaronson replaced Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James. The starting wingers had been mostly ineffective for the first 60 minutes, but their replacements didn’t make too much of an impact either.
The game finished 0-0. It might be seen as a good point for Leeds, but the match still revealed Leeds could do with a bit of extra flair on the wing.
None of the four wingers used in this game are likely to strike fear into Premier League defenders.

While Farke has done a great job of strengthening his team’s spine during this transfer window, a bit of extra magic on the wing certainly wouldn’t go amiss.
