Shilo Sanders made headlines last week when he was involved in a scuffle with Buffalo Bills during a preseason game last week. He threw a punch at tight end Zach Davidson, and he was ejected from the game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the very next day that he was being released.
On Saturday, things got worse for Sanders as the NFL announced that he was being fined $4,669.

Sanders was undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, but signed with the Buccaneers shortly after. Since being released, he hasn’t been signed yet by another NFL team.
The rookie safety played his collegiate football at Colorado, where he was able to play for his dad Deion, as well as play with his brother Shedeur.
Sanders started his career at South Carolina, where he played two seasons before transferring to play with his dad at Jackson State. In his final two years at Colorado, he started all 19 games he played in, and he finished with 93 tackles.
While he is still looking to get back on an NFL roster, he has made an announcement on his YouTube page that he is more than an athlete, hinting that he may go a different route from football.
Whatever is next for Sanders, the NFL is going to expect him to pay his fine.
