The Englishman managed just two Premier League assists in his last two seasons at Man City combined, as he failed to make an impact under Pep Guardiola.

Grealish provided two assists, and also played a huge part in the build-up to Iliman Ndiaye’s goal.

The Englishman recorded just one assist for Man City last season.

However, Grealish now looks back to his best, and broadcasters Andy Gray and Richard Keys were delighted to see his return to form.

Speaking on beIN SPORTS, the pair highlighted the remarkable stats behind Grealish’s lightning start to life at Everton.

“Grealish now has more assists in an Everton jersey – three – than he had at City in the past couple of years,” Keys stated after Grealish’s first assist for Beto.

“That’s a great stat,” Gray replied.

Jack Grealish breaks 12-year Everton record vs Wolves

Grealish’s remarkable start at Everton, with four assists in three Premier League games and just two starts, has seen him break a long-standing record at the club.

Grealish has become the first Everton player to create a goal in each of his first two starts for the club since 2013, in which Bryan Oviedo managed this feat.

Oviedo’s was in entirely different circumstances, as his first two starts were separated by several months and a number of substitute appearances, while Grealish’s has come within a week in back to back games.
