Rangers are in talks to sign Everton striker Youssef Chermiti in a permanent deal that could be worth £10 million, according to The Times journalist Paul Joyce.
Rangers had been looking to sign the Portuguese on an initial loan deal, but a permanent move is now on the cards to bring him to the Ibrox club.
Talks are now progressing between both clubs, and Chermiti is expected to be a summer signing for the Light Blues before the summer transfer deadline on Monday.

Rangers are ready to continue backing their under-fire manager Russell Martin, and adding the Everton number 9 to his squad could prove to be a game-changing signing.
The Bears take on Celtic tomorrow in their fourth Scottish Premiership game of the 2025-26 campaign, and a defeat is unlikely to lead to the departure of their manager.
Losing 9-1 on aggregate to Club Brugge in the Champions League play-offs has seen the fans call for his head, but the board will be sticking with Martin for the time being from the look of things.
The Rangers board will be aware that Jose Mourinho is available after Fenerbahce parted ways with the Portuguese this week, and replacing their current manager with him could make all the difference.
