Micah Parsons has just added to the excitement that is Green Bay Packers football. The season begins Sunday with a NFC North showdown against the Detroit Lions. Where will it end? Who knows?
Here are 25 bold (and optimistic) predictions on what will happen between now and then.
Jordan Love will throw for more yards and more touchdowns than the Steelers quarterback will in week 8 at Pittsburgh. He'll also finish the season with more yards and touchdowns than the Pittsburgh QB.
In that week 8 game in Pittsburgh a Love touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs will give the Packers a 24-20 lead late in the fourth quarter. The Steelers will drive but a Nate Hobbs interception will seal the win.
Love will miss one game during the season. Backup Malik Willis will start and remain unbeaten as a Packer starter.
Running back Josh Jacobs will rush for over 1,500 yards, the most by a Packer since Ahman Green's 1,883-yard season of 2003.
Rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden will lead the team in receiving yards and be in the mix for the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Tight end Tucker Kraft, however, will lead the team in receptions. The first time a tight end has done that since Paul Coffman in 1979.
While Kraft puts up big numbers in 2025, a healthy Luke Musgrave will be a big contributor to the offense giving the team their best set of tight ends since Keith Jackson and Mark Chmura in 1995.
Jordan Morgan will start a game at both left tackle and right guard this season and will look good at both positions.
Micah Parsons impact on Jeff Hafley's defense will be similar to what Reggie White brought to Fritz Shumur's unit and what Clay Matthews brought to Dom Capers'. I think you know what I mean. If not, keep reading.
Which also means Rashan Gary, because of Parsons' presence, will have his first double digit sack season with 12.
Now with Parsons and Gary on the edges, expect to see Lukas Van Ness get more reps inside, especially on obvious passing downs.
Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper will fill up the stat sheet with multiple sacks, interceptions, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries and record double figures in tackles for a loss.
All of that will earn the second-year man from Texas A&M his first Pro Bowl berth.
He'll be joined in the game by teammates Parsons, Gary, and Xavier McKinney on defense and Love, Jacobs, Kraft and Zach Tom on offense.
Carrington Valentine will lead the cornerbacks in interceptions with five.
Safety Xavier McKinney will again lead the team with eight. It will mark the first time the same player has led the team in interceptions in back-to-back years since Darren Sharper did it from 2000-04.
Brandon McManus will kick three game-winning field goals in the final minute. The first will come in week 2 on Thursday Night Football against Washington.
In week 4 the Packers will extend two streaks. It will be their sixth straight win over the Cowboys and their fifth straight win over the Cowboys in Dallas. Parsons might play a role in that one.
In week 10 against Philadelphia on Monday Night Football the Packers will beat the Super Bowl Champion Eagles on a one-yard tight end sneak by Tucker Kraft late in the fourth quarter.
After going 1-5 in the NFC North last season the Packers will flip that script and go 5-1 in the division this season.
That will lead to their first division title since 2021 and the third for head coach Matt LaFleur.
In their first playoff game the Packers will knock off the seventh seed wild card Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau.
The divisional round will see them beat the NFC West champion Los Angeles Rams also at home.
In the NFC Championship Game the Packers will beat the NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (who knocked off the Eagles the week before) back at Lambeau.
Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara will feature the Packers and the Houston Texans.
You'll have to check back in February to get a prediction on that one.
