The Minnesota Vikings have welcomed back a familiar face.
Adam Thielen is back with the team that signed him as an undrafted free agent.
With that in mind, fellow WR Justin Jefferson tipped his hat to his veteran teammate.
He claimed Thielen was the player who helped him the most in his career, gushing about how he took him under his wing as a rookie.
“Adam Thielen for sure… he pretty much took me under his wing, was my older brother,” Jefferson said.

Thielen was already a stalwart when Jefferson burst onto the scene.
He was the Robin to Stefon Diggs’ Batman, and he gladly embraced that same role with the LSU product.
Of course, expecting him to be the same Pro Bowl-caliber pass-catcher he was before he left the team two years ago isn’t that realistic.
Then again, he should be more than capable of holding his ground early on in the season to help the passing game during Jordan Addison’s three-game suspension.
Also, Thielen has worked out with Vikings’ QB J.J. McCarthy for the past couple of offseasons, so they’re already more than familiar with one another and will likely have some chemistry.
Thielen is familiar with Kevin O’Connell’s offensive system, and he’ll be a seamless fit back in the Twin Cities.
It’s always nice to see players go full circle and return to the place they spent their golden years.
Thielen knows he’s inching closer to the end of his career, and he will treasure and make the most of every single chance he has to help his beloved hometown team get over the hump once and for all.
