Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta have less than 24 hours to get their transfer business sorted. Arsenal have spent about £250 million on new players this summer, while only bringing in about £7m in sales, so there's plenty of work to be done on the outgoings front ahead of Monday night's deadline.
Once the Gunners wrap up a deal for Piero Hincapie, they'll need to make some sales, with a few players at Emirates Stadium still looking for a new club. Albert Sambi Lokinga and Reiss Nelson continue to be heavily linked with moves away, while Fabio Vieira is yet to seal an exit.
Oleksandr Zinchenko emerged as a potential target for Marseille not too long ago, but the French giants now look set to sign Emerson Palmieri. Jakub Kiwior could also depart after he was ousted from the matchday squad for the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
There's a lot of work to be done in north London. So, with that being said, football.london has rounded up the latest Arsenal transfer news...

Hincapie to Arsenal delay explained
According to The Athletic, Piero Hincapie is awaiting permission from Bayer Leverkusen to undergo a medical ahead of a potential transfer to Arsenal. The report claims that the 23-year-old defender has travelled to England, London, in anticipation of a deadline day move.
football.london understands that Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Hincapie on loan, which includes an option to buy clause worth £45m. The Ecuador international, who was an unused substitute in Leverkusen's 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen on Saturday, could make his debut against Nottingham Forest after the international break.
football.london says: " I doubt Mikel Arteta plans to use Piero Hincapie – a left-footed centre-half, who stands at just six foot tall – as backup for Gabriel Magalhaes. The Ecuadorian will probably play left-back in the current system, but even then he faces tough competition from Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori ."
Rodrygo makes final Real Madrid decision
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Rodrygo will stay at Real Madrid despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. The 24-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, having struggled to force himself into Xabi Alonso's side.
Rodrygo, whose contract at the Santiago Bernabeu expires in June 2028, has played just 81 minutes for Los Blancos in La Liga this season. With Vinicius Junior preferred on the left and Franco Mastantuono a regular on the right, the Brazilian could quickly grow frustrated.
football.london says: "Rodrygo should have pushed for a move away from Real Madrid at the start of the summer when all the big clubs first entered the market for a new marquee forward. Unless there's an injury, he'll struggle for minutes this season. The warning signs have been there for a while now ."
Arteta drops Kiwior hint
Mikel Arteta left Jakub Kiwior at home for Arsenal's clash against Liverpool. The 25-year-old defender, who Arsenal signed from Spezia in January 2023 for £20m, was omitted from the matchday squad at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Despite having played a key role in the side last season, Kiwior has been ousted by the Gunners boss. The Poland international started each of Arsenal's final nine games of the 2024/25 Premier League season as they finished second in the table.
This summer, the north Londoners signed Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia, who was preferred to Kiwior on the bench for the Liverpool clash, and they look set to sign Hincapie too on deadline day.
football.london says: "I wouldn't blame Jakub Kiwior at all if he pushes to leave Arsenal. I'm surprised that Mikel Arteta has ousted him from the squad after a good end to last season ."
