Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has always been one who doesn't give the media too much, but he did share his thoughts on the team's upcoming opponent, the Dallas Cowboys.
Before the Eagles' practice on Sunday, Sirianni spoke with the media to discuss the upcoming week's Cowboys matchup. He responded to the Cowboys' trade of Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers and how it would affect their game planning for the upcoming game.
"Yeah, we have so much going on here. Obviously, we're getting ready to play the Cowboys, so he's on your thoughts of game-planning, but they still have guys that we have to prepare for. Obviously, they got Kenny Clark, who is a really good player and they have good depth at the defensive end group, so you don't get too wrapped up into that except for some of the things you're doing with the game plan, but also understand that they have a lot of good players still over there and get ready for those guys and shift your attention to that."

How different will the game planning be for the Eagles versus the Cowboys
The one thing Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones mentioned when acquiring Clark as part of the Parsons trade is that it will help their run defense. Clark is solid against the run as Dallas' focus is clearly on stopping Saquon Barkley in the backfield.
That will open up the opportunity for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts to sling the ball more on the field. Hurts has faced criticism all offseason for only throwing the ball 361 times last season.
While Sirianni won't give the Cowboys bulletin board material, the pass rush in Dallas is simply not as good with a guy like Parsons no longer there after contributing a little over two-thirds of the Cowboys' pressures last year. Eagles tackles Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson might be going against younger, quicker edge rushers, but that doesn't mean they will be on the same level as Parsons is at.
This is an Eagles team that simply had the Cowboys' number over the last year, with two wins of a combined score of 75-13. Even with Parsons last year, Dallas was not able to compete with Philly.
