Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs doesn’t seem happy about the prospect of playing Micah Parsons in Week 4. The Cowboys will host Parsons and the Green Bay Packers for Sunday Night Football on Sept. 28, nearly a month after the star pass rusher was traded from Dallas.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Diggs called playing Parsons “the worst” and thinks Dallas is going to have a hard time stopping the defender from getting to Dak Prescott.
“Obviously wishing him the best,” Diggs said via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “I hope he has the best season ever. He’s Micah Parsons, he’s unblockable. He’s unstoppable… The worst. It’s gonna be weird. It’s gonna be conflicting. I hope he is not in the backfield in two seconds.”

Parsons was the best thing for Diggs and the Cowboys secondary, making it easy for them to play coverage while he tormented quarterbacks. Diggs earned All-Pro honors in 2021 and Pro Bowl appearances in 2021 and 2022.
Amid reports that Parsons and his podcasts caused issues in the locker room, Diggs said the beef was with former players not on the Cowboys.
“I think everyone liked him,” Diggs said. “I feel like there were some former players who are not here no more. There was a lot of, I would say, hate, jealousy, envy towards him because of who he is and the production he does on the field. Imagine if you come in here and you’re take somebody’s shine or taking somebody’s spot, you’re not gonna like that, they’re gonna feel a type of way, especially if you’re that type of person.”

“Me personally, I never got no bad anything from him, like, ever, ever since he stepped foot on the team. I guess his personality and who he is, he knows he’s a great player, he knows he’s good, he knows who he is. So, a lot of people don’t like that. So that could’ve been different. But when we’re in the locker, everyone’s joking, everyone’s laughing, everyone’s smiling, everyone’s happy. So I don’t know where those narratives came from.”
The Cowboys are going to quickly learn what life is like without Parsons in the locker room or on the field. Diggs is being realistic about the situation, knowing Dallas’ defense is going to have a hard time stopping opponents without a player who recorded 52.5 sacks in four years.
