Reiss Nelson has joined Brentford on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old impressed at Fulham last season before an injury curtailed his time on loan at Craven Cottage. Reiss has worked hard to get fully fit again over the summer and will move back across London to join the Bees for the 2025/26 campaign.
Reiss has been with us for 17 years, making 90 first-team appearances, scoring eight goals and assisting nine times. He won the FA Cup in 2020 and played his part in our Community Shield victories in 2017 and 2020.
Reiss made 68 appearances across our academy teams before signing his first professional contract with the club in December 2016.
This will be the fourth loan spell of his career, following time spent with Bundesliga team Hoffenheim in 2018/19 and Dutch club Feyenoord in 2021/22 before representing Fulham last term.
Everyone at Arsenal wishes Reiss all the best for this coming season with Brentford.
The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
