After nine seasons with the Green Bay Packers, it’s time for veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clarkto start a new chapter. He’s still playing football, but the 29-year-old former UCLA Bruins star will be suiting up with the Dallas Cowboys following one of the most surprising trades in recent NFL history.
Clark was part of the trade package the Packers sent to the Cowboys in order to acquire superstar linebacker Micah Parsons last week. The Packers also sent two future picks in the first round of future NFL drafts (2026 and 2027). It remains to be seen what kind of players Dallas will have when those picks convey (or whether they’d even keep them), but what’s certain is that Clark will be ready to serve Dallas.

Clark, who was taken 27th overall by the Packers in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft, recently shared how he learned that he was traded to Dallas.

New Cowboys defensive tackle Kenny Clark was getting his daughter, Kenaii, some ice cream on Thursday when he got a phone call.
The call was to inform him that he’d been traded from Green Bay to Dallas in exchange for Micah Parsons, one of the most significant trades in recent NFL history.
“I was shocked, but once Jerry and all those guys called me, Schotty and everybody, I just felt wanted. It’s a blessing, I’m appreciative of it.” Clark said.
It will be interesting to see how fast Clark will acclimate to his new surroundings after playing for one team for nearly a decade. He can see action in his new threadsas early as this coming Thursday, when the Cowboys play the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
