Green Bay Packers: Rashan Gary Sends Strong Message After Huge Development Before 2025 NFL…

Much has been said about thetrade that brought Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers. Yet, everyone still has to see him in action for his new team.

That wait will not be for long, however, with the Packers all set to square offagainst the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field this coming Sunday for both teams’ opener in the 2025 NFL regular season.

Regardless of how Parsons fares in that contest, he will be viewed as a huge asset for the Packers, who are considered among the notable Super Bowl contenders in the coming season.

Packers defensive end Rashan Gary is hyped for the potential of Green Bay’s defense with Parsons in the fold.

In 2024, the Packers allowed just 20.5 points and 313.2 total yards per game, fifth and fourth in the NFL, respectively. With Parsons, there’s a good reason to believe that Green Bay’s stop unit will take another leap in Year 2 of Jeff Hafley as the team’s defensive coordinator.

For a defense that ranked in the top 10 in both yards and points allowed last season, there’s a genuine eagerness to see just how good it can be with a three-time All-Pro like Parsons now in the fold.

“It’s scary,” said Rashan Gary, who will often be Parsons’ counterpart as a bookend when the newcomer is rushing off the edge. “It’s for sure scary with the pieces that we have.”

With Jordan Love running the show from under center on the other side of the field, Parsons and the Packers’ defense are expected to shine and be much better than what they were before the trade for the former Penn State Nittany Lions star.
