With three Premier League games done and the transfer window (slammed) shut for the second time this summer, attention turns to the first Interlull.
After a frustrating defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, the timing isn’t ideal. On the plus side, it eats into the recovery time of our lengthy injury list and gives Mikel Arteta some time to find Gabriel Heinze.
Word has it the Argentine has gone missing – the only clues to his whereabouts are a smashed-up television at the training ground and a dart-laden photo of Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
Let’s hope he’s returned safely / completes his mission…or both. Whatever.
