Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender David Luiz has been accused of sending chilling threats to a social worker who turned down his request for a threesome.
Luiz is engaged to long-time partner Bruna Loureiro and they have two daughters together.
But the 38-year-old has been caught up in controversy, with a court in Brazil administering a restraining order following the claims made by Francisca Karollainy Barbosa Cavalcante.
The 26-year-old alleged that Luiz, who invited her to stay at a hotel Fortaleza proposed the idea of her having a 'threesome' with him and one of her friends, with Portal Leodias purporting that he told her she would be "serving the lord"
Cavalcante claimed that she rejected the request and began to receive threatening messages on Instagram, leading to her reporting Luiz to the police.

The Brazilian denies allegations that he made any threats and that he ever met her in the flesh - but did admit to communicating over message.
As per The Sun, one alleged screenshot shared with police contained a warning from Luiz about his "money and power" and that Cavalcante's son could "pay the consequences".
It was also purported that Luiz told Cavalcante "I can simply make you disappear" and offered £14,000 when the allegations were made public.
David Luiz addresses allegations
A statement from Luiz's management team said: "As previously reported, although there was a brief exchange via text message, there was never any face-to-face meeting between David Luiz and the person making the contrary allegations. According to an official statement from the Magna Praia Hotel, there is no record of the player staying at the hotel to date. David Luiz reaffirms his commitment to the truth and is confident that the facts will be duly clarified."
Luiz then released a statement on his Instagram page, doubling down on his denial. He said: "I never threatened anyone, I never threatened this person, I was never with this person physically, I was never at the hotel they say I was at."

Cavalcante filed a report with the police which led to a restraining order being enforced within 24 hours. Luiz's team say legal proceedings have began.
Luiz had two stints at Chelsea either side of a spell with Paris Saint-Germain and won two FA Cups, two Europa League titles, one Champions League and one FA Cup.
He also won another FA Cup and Community Shield with Arsenal before returning to his native Brazil with Flamengo and later moving to Fortaleza.
Luiz is still playing and recently signed a contract with Cypriot side Pafos until 2027.
