Arsenal moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a victory over Fulham on Saturday night. Leandro Trossard's second-half goal was enough to secure the Gunners a 1-0 win at Craven Cottage.

Arsenal’s win at Fulham marked the first of seven fixtures in 21 days for Mikel Arteta’s side, with a Champions League home clash against Atletico Madrid tomorrow night. Next up in the Premier League is a home game against Crystal Palace.

And when it comes to the battle for the title, the Gunners have four games in 21 days in January that could decide the destination of this season’s Premier League trophy.

After kicking off the month with an away game against Bournemouth, the Gunners then face Liverpool at home, Nottingham Forest away and Manchester United at home.

Arteta’s side then conclude the month with an away game against Leeds United at Elland Road, but the games against Arne Slot’s side, Forest, United and Leeds could be huge in Arsenal’s quest to become Premier League champions.

The Gunners have already been beaten by Liverpool this season, while last season they were held to a 0-0 draw by Forest. However, they did beat United at home last season and have already beaten Ruben Amorim’s side this campaign.

In the same period, Liverpool face Burnley at home and Bournemouth and welcome Newcastle United to Anfield. They start the month with an away game against Fulham, and their recent misery was compounded on Sunday afternoon when they were beaten by Manchester United at Anfield for the first time since 2016.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

While Manchester City welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Etihad, take on Manchester United at Old Trafford, and Wolverhampton Wanderers at home and then travel to North London to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the same 21-day period.

Speaking following the win at Craven Cottage, Arteta hailed his side for rewriting recent history as they claimed all three points at a ground where they had failed to win on their previous two visits.

He said: “The recent history wasn’t in our favour and we wanted to change that, like we did against Newcastle and West Ham at home.

“And this is another step to having that mindset and that ability to win these kind of matches against a really good opposition, and a really difficult place to come.

“When the context is 0-0, and the game gets longer and longer, it becomes more difficult, but we showed a lot of maturity.

“We kept knocking on the door in various ways, and in the end we found a way, with the set-piece to do it, but we deserved it.”
