Max Dowman has been included in Arsenal U19s’ provisional squad for their UEFA Youth League fixture at home to Atletico Madrid today.
The 15-year-old played in the competition last season but this is set to be his first involvement this campaign.
It will be interesting to see whether Dowman will still be named on the bench for the first-team against the same opponents in the Champions League tonight.
Louie Copley is absent for the U19s due to suspension but Louis Zecevic John is available for the first time this season after recovering from injury.
Some changes have been made with regards to the overage players, with Will Sweet and Osman Kamara selected instead of Josh Nichols and Copley.
Right-back Josiah King has also received his first callup in this competition, with Samuel Onyekachukwu and Teshaun Murisa not in the squad.
Goalkeeper Khari Ranson has also been called up.
Arsenal will be determined to win after losing their first two games in the competition, with coach David Horseman taking charge of the U19s for the first time.
