17 members of our women’s team have been called up to represent their nations across the October international break.
Starting with the Lionesses, **Lotte Wubben-Moy, Taylor Hinds, Beth Mead, Chloe Kelly,** and **Alessia Russo** are all in contention to take on Brazil in a friendly at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, October 25.
It’s the first senior England call-up for Hinds, while Katie Reid sadly had to withdraw due to a groin injury.
They will then go head-to-head with their Gunners teammates against Australia at Pride Park on Tuesday, October 28, with **Steph Catley, Kyra Cooney-Cross** and **Caitlin Foord** all getting ready to represent the Matildas. This comes after their match against Wales at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday, October 25.
A number of our players are preparing to be involved in the semi-finals of the UEFA Women’s Nations League, **Mariona Caldentey** going up against **Stina Blackstenius** when Spain host Sweden in the first leg on Friday, October 24, before travelling to Gothenburg for the second leg on Tuesday, October 28.
**Katie McCabe** will be taking part in Nations League relegation/promotion play-offs against Belgium, with Republic of Ireland facing them in the first leg at Aviva Stadium on Friday, October 24, before heading to Den Dreef Stadion for the second leg on Tuesday, October 28.
The rest of our internationals all have friendly fixtures to look forward to, with **Olivia Smith** (Canada), **Victoria Pelova** (Netherlands), **Frida Maanum** (Norway), and **Emily Fox** (USA) all called up for their countries.
Daphne van Domselaar was not available for selection due to a minor knee issue, while Manuela Zinsberger is now recovering from an ACL injury, with Leah Williamson working to get back fit from a knee injury.
At under-19s level, **Sophie Harwood** and **Amy Liddiard** are in the England squad for their games against Estonia, Greece and Austria to kick off the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualifiers in Estonia.
