Opta’s supercomputer is now giving Arsenal a 54.5 percenet chance at winning the Premier League, meaning at this early point in the season, there is already more than a 50/50 shot that Arteta proves his critics wrong in a big way.
Manchester City are far behind Arsenal in second with a 17.3 percent chance of winning the title, while Liverpool are sesentially tied at 17.2 percent. That means the combined chances of the two biggest challengers to Arsenal winning are not much more than half the total chance of the Gunners walking away as champions.
