Arsenal 15-year-old sensation, Max Dowman won’t be available for selection as Arsenal take on Atletico Madrid on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Arsenal will go into the match on the back of a perfect start to the new Champions League campaign.
The Gunners defeated Olympiacos and Athletic Club 2-0 each in their first two matches of the campaign.
Max Dowman already featured today, scoring twice as the Gunners’ U19s narrowly lost 4-3 to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Youth League, and will be watching the first team this evening from the stands. Dowman, who has already made his first-team debut this season, showcased his impressive skills, scoring two penalties in the entertaining match.

The young striker started centrally behind Andre Harriman-Annous and showed why he’s a rising star with touches of real quality.
Arsenal initially took the lead when Harrison Dudziak scored from close range, but Atletico Madrid equalised through Sergio Vinatea’s low shot. Dowman then gave Arsenal the lead again with a calm penalty, but Atletico scored two quick goals.

The young prodigy leveled the game with his second penalty, but Atletico Madrid winger Ruben Gomez scored the winner just a minute later.

Dowman was very electric throughout the match with flickering physical first touches and composure.
His powerful run-ins and excellent temperament, guarded with his skills, have caught the attention of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The match is part of Arsenal’s busy schedule, with the first team facing Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
